The program
Junior Playmaker is our 3-month internship program for graduates and students that gives them a real taste of everyday operations in a fast-growing SaaS company with a global team of 100+ Playmakers. It is focused on developing practical skills, learning by doing, and growing the interns’ future careers. The program usually lasts 3 months with the possibility of extension.
The Company
Databox, a fast-growing SaaS company that helps other companies monitor and improve their business performance, is giving an opportunity to young and enthusiastic people that want to help scale our systems from thousands to millions of users. We are looking for a Junior Playmaker who wants to join a fast-paced team of driven individuals, get involved in building a technically superior product, learn practical engineering skills, and thrive in an environment that will kickstart growing their career.
The Team
All our interns join our Product and Engineering team, which has over 35 members with extensive experience in UI/UX design, frontend/mobile/backend development, product growth, and analytics. We build our product and features from scratch using the latest technologies.
Mentoring, code reviews, and writing tests are only some of our core engineering principles. We celebrate achievements, encourage personal growth, structure knowledge sharing, and have fun doing it all.
Junior Playmaker Internship
We are looking for an individual with basic knowledge and experience in PHP, Node.js, TypeScript (backend), or JavaScript/HTML/CSS (frontend) that is excited at the opportunity to develop those skills further. We know new programming languages can be learned quickly, but we care much more about your general engineering skills than your knowledge of a particular language or framework.
