The Company

Databox, a fast-growing SaaS company that helps other companies monitor and improve their business performance, is looking for an experienced Human Resources leader who can help us capitalize on the enormous opportunity in front of us.

The Team

As a company that has grown our revenue and headcount +50% year over year while maintaining cash-flow positive operations and high gross margins, we are hiring aggressively to accelerate our pace of growth even further. In order to drive this growth, we need someone with both human resources and company-building experience to build out and manage our HR team. With 90+ team members in 8 countries with plans to double that in the next 12 months, the ideal candidate is someone who is passionate about building strong teams and a great culture in a global, hybrid workplace company.

The Role

As Head of People Operations and a member of our management team, you will oversee and help execute all Human Resource Management functions, including recruiting, hiring, employee onboarding, career planning, performance management, leadership development, benefits and compensation management, policy setting, planning, and budgeting. Although we’ve developed some processes for hiring, onboarding, career development, etc, the ideal candidate will know how to improve upon what we’ve built, help hands-on with recruiting for key positions, and quickly build an HR and Recruiting team of 2-3 people. 

The Work

  • Design and oversee the execution of HR strategy in line with business goals and objectives
  • Oversee the organization’s recruitment, interview, selection, and hiring processes.
  • Ensure we are hitting our recruiting targets and hire great candidates in collaboration with all department leaders 
  • Develop and nurture our company culture, including employee happiness assessments and implementation of measures and processes to improve it
  • Define common career paths and compensation plans
  • In terms of employee development, work closely with company leadership and other teams to develop, define and maintain career paths and performance management
  • Help implement leadership development and management training programs
  • Implement and constantly improve all HR processes
  • In terms of employee experience: define processes and collaborate with managers throughout the employee lifecycle, including onboardings, relationship building, promotions & offboardings
  • Measure the effectiveness of our benefits programs, identify and implement improvements
  • Maintain HR procedures that comply with labor regulations across the globe

The Skills

  • 5+ years of working experience as HR Manager
  • Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company
  • Good knowledge of global labor laws 
  • Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills
  • Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • People-oriented and results-driven
